I learnt about using Null Modem Cable connection to DM500C via Universal Dreamup for flashings. But it does not work for DM500Cv-II.

Hi all, can anyone please advise me how to set up FTP connections to DM sets for flashings and upgrades? Can FTP be used for all DM models for flashings and upgrades?
I learnt about using Null Modem Cable connection to DM500C via Universal Dreamup for flashings. But it does not work for DM500Cv-II.
Puzzles me... please help.

DM500Cv-II. sounds like a clone box
we do not support clone boxes

on the Glassfibre 1GB DVB-C...

Just out of curiosity, how are the clones flashed? Seems like Universal Dreamup & Null Modem Cables do not do the links at all.
