Hello all,

My sincere apologes if this is out of place here.

Can anyone help with getting Enigma2 to display Japanese file names in files accessible on a share (actually on a mounted drive from my PC)?

At the moment, browsing to the files on my share with the Vu+ media player, I see file names along the lines of '01??????_?????.mkv'. I've followed some instructions that I found on OpenPLi in a slightly different topic (about getting Japanese and Chinese fonts to display in the EPG):

But unfortunately this has not allowed the box to display the file names in the Japanese font. It also cannot play them back, which I suspect is because it cannot display the file name.
