Hi,


First of all let me thank you for this very nice forum.

I have a d8000 on which i connected a DVB-C in order to have Numericable Luxemburg on the dreambox (which seems be the same as Numericable Belgium)
For some few Service ref i get the epg (like France 3 or France 4,..) but the mayor of them remain empty.

In attachement the dreamedit bouquet with only the DVB-C service ref.
Is it possible to add them?

From these channels no epg is available:
.dok 2 ten RTL 306 SID 0xc26 Bebe TV CANAL INFO Canal Info Lorentzweiler Chambre TV RTL Letzebuerg Sundance Channel

And a number of other channels are linked to epg, from which I think this is correct. However pls. check and let me know if the schedule is not correct. f.i. BBC entertainment several different versions are available.

Also you will need to select the Belgian and the Italian packages because use has been made of channels provided in these packages.

I've selected both Benelux + Italy but f.e. TF1 HD / France 2 HD there is nothing to see in the epg panel...
Nothing urges for the channel file, i've been working without full epg since years so a few weeks to wait is nothing :-)

For numericable Luxemburg i only gave the French channels which we are looking at but there are servral other channels.
If you want i can upload the whole package of Numericable in order to add them in your file; maybe this can be useful for someone to also get these Channels EPG.

Hi,

Is the change already online because I see no changes in the epg?
I've tried with and without adding the channel list in epgimport but nothing to see in the panel.

I'm with Gemini 3 and normal epg download works.
What can I check else?

The channels should have epg now.
Could you send us the epgimport.log pls.
This can be obtained when in the epgimport window pressing the info button (or epg button for a VU+)
You can save the log. The log is then located in /tmp/ and has to be retrieved from this location before the box restarts.

Hi,

I was on holiday so i only could try yesterday...

In Attachement the log file.
I've changed the epg.dat file location and attributes but it didn't help..

[EPGImport] importEvents exception: ubyte format requires 0 <= number <= 255

This error is generally fatal for the import. I did not see this for a long time.
Take a look at my log (attached)

I can only advise to update both the importer and the rytec sources.
Possible try the OpenPli image.

Fore some reason epg update of the following channels have stoped until a couple of months ago they workt fine

Eurosport UK BSkyB 28.2 Fr 12.285.000 V
Eurosport2 UK BSkyB 28.2 Fr 12148.500 H

Both have epg on my box.

This one
1:0:1:164E:7E9:2:11A0000:0:0:0: Eursoport UK doe snot have epg, but it also wont open. So I do not know if this is an old version of the channel.

I use Gemini GP3 and followed the install proc. for Gemini 5 or higher. Am I right with this?

No experience with Gemini GP3. But I have seen problems being reported with this on a regular basis.

You could try as an alternative, Crossepg. But I cannot guaranty this will work. because also problems are being reported using Crossepg. Although there are people which use it without any problems.

It seems taht the problem is the Gemini GP3 which is not epg minded.

Willy thanks for your quick anwser i am using a vu + duo web-if won't work with this got my old DM7000 flashed the dm with the latest Pli nightly and installed rytec works on that one you got the right service codes.

But i've got only now / next epg on those channels used to get epg data for a week with Crossepg

Vu+ is now flashed with the latest old kernel nightly build and Crossepg but before that the same problem existed the latest months.

Could somebody else confirm pls. that eurosportUK and Eursoport2UK have or have not epg.

On my box both have epg. But i want a second opinion. Because it is difficult for me to search for an error if I cannot replicate it.

Good news, i've re installed the XML import step by step and now it works, epg is finally populate

There are some channels which do not have some epg data but i don't know if they are available:

-RTL TVI
-La Une
-La Deux
-Club RTL
-Plug RTL
-National Geographic Wild
-...

Could you please check if they are available on download?

These channels do have epg.
But it may be possible that the channels refs you are watching are not included in our channelsfile (this is the file that links the XMLTV file to the channels in your box)

Could you provide us the channel refs pls.
In in order to keep order in the channelsfile, pls. also tell us which provider, and on which sat (or DVB-T, DVB-C) they are broadcasted.

My problem with epg on Sky is solved i always used xmltv providers now switched to expgdb providers and that was the solution

now working fine until now
