I have a suggestion.
Make a separate menu selector channels.

-Show event-progress in channel selection
-Show channel numbers in channel selection
-Show Services Count for Folders
-Hide Empty NewFound folders
-Show HD-channels list
+
enigma2_percent_patch_pli_v0_5.patch
https://github.com/b..._pli_v0_5.patch
The patch is tested by dozens of users within the last 3 months, works perfectly.
-Show Event Percentage in channel selection
-Alignment Event in channel selection
+
etc in the future

P.S.I appeal to developers of PLi.
Consider my suggestion.
If you do not need it personally, think about other users.
For interest and development of your project needs new ideas.
Here they are ...

Is this patch agains our (latest) openpli git repo?

Beside this we think the bar is enough..... why do we need an additional percentage there?

Make a separate menu selector channels.
-Show event-progress in channel selection
-Show channel numbers in channel selection
-Show Services Count for Folders
-Hide Empty NewFound folders
-Show HD-channels list

maibe not separate, but shortcut from ServicesList->Menu->ChannelContextMenu to ...->System->Customise
and second shortcut to ..->Manual scan

And given the fact this is an English forum: "I do not understand something, you're from Riga or what? In Russian you say?" ;)

Currently in use: VU+ Duo 4K (2xFBC S2), VU+ Solo 4K (1xFBC S2), uClan Usytm 4K Ultimate (S2+T2), Octagon SF8008 (S2+T2), Zgemma H9.2H (S2+T2)

Due to my bad health, I will not be very active at times and may be slow to respond. I will not read the forum or PM on a regular basis.

Beside this we think the bar is enough..... why do we need an additional percentage there?

As far as i can see the patch is against openpli...

I can imagine someone wanting an percentage number instead of a progress bar (just like we can use to see SNR in % or dB)

I knew that you say no.

what do you mean by this? Everything is open for discussion isn't it?

But I don't like the position of the %. If I'm correct you place it between the channel number and the channel name. I would prefer it to be at the end of the line. Where the progress bar is. That would also make the code much simpler...
Then:
- do we want percentage to be inside the progress bar to get them both?
- do we want to select between % or bar (or both)?

What is the meaning of the shiftalignment?
Geen wonder... Had slechts een dm7000, maar wel ook een rotor. eigenlijk al een tijdje ook een dm600 en dm7025. Maar nu kijkend met een et9000 en vuduo

I think the hide empty new is a good idea..... but then without config.... Why do we need empty lists - so why do we need to make this configurable?

To add a FTA lost might also be a good idea....

But what are selective folders?

2.

1.
why not, if it is alredy done?
have you open and compared files in count_services_selectivefolders_hideemptynew_120323.tar.gz (use TotalCommander->File->Compare by content)
sence is cause counting of services spends a lot time, as i reported in first post, if option `hide` is turned Off then also long services cunting procedure isnt executed

2.
again cause slow speed, selective means configurable for what folders do counting
user have choice, fast open without info or slow open with info

2 I still do not understand. And why should we create our own diffs as our sources are open.... When someone has suggestions for PLi it is helpfull and it gives bigger chances when there is a diff or patch against our latest sources available on sourceforge....

This can be discussed with the author.
First, you must first consent to the inclusion in the patch openPLI.

Then:
- do we want percentage to be inside the progress bar to get them both?
- do we want to select between % or bar (or both)?

Let them be all the options.
Allow the user to select the most as it is more convenient.
Only the settings should be a separate menu.
Menu Customize overcrowded different options so that an ordinary user does not know what's what is.
In my more logical to do some menu:
-Auto language selection
-Record
-Сhannel selector
etc..

What is the meaning of the shiftalignment?

Upgrade to this feed(attach) and you'll understand.

The counts of services is extreem slow.... only when someone finds a faster way to count the services in a list this might be acceptable...

@Dima73
thanks, with instructions that were so easy

@Littlesat> The counts of services is extreem slow
as i wrote only speed was the reason make folders where count selective
now you have choice select none folders where count services,
my choice is count '..New' only in case several tausant services in lamedb

@about EventProgress %
i vote for single parameter in the customise menu
there is example how parameter `config.usage.show_event_progress_in_servicelist` can be extended
http://www.newnigma2...6909#post126909
by same method there can be add all posible choices = [
("false", "no"),
("true", "yes"),
("percentageL", "%Left of EventTitle")
("percentageR", "Right% of EventTitle")
("percentageLprb", "yes and %Left of EventTitle")
("percentageRprb", "yes and Right% of EventTitle")]

sounds sweet, your suggestions would make users go nuts ;)

Channelsel. is (imo) most used screen for majority of users and like openpli users are used to have progess bar on right side since years,
there are lots of users who always had prog.bar next to channelnumber since their first linux stb.

But like Dima73 already supposed, even including github percent_patch will be 'a long story' ... we shouldn´t even dream about left/right :P
