Hi all,

I just released Buyukbang Panel plugin for Enigma2. I tried to include only unique features that is not provided by other plugins or panels. Visit my blog for details about the features, screenshots and updated download links:

http://buyukbang.blogspot.com

I summarized the feature descriptions below:

Copy EPG: Copies EPG data from source channels to the same channels without EPG data on other satellites or packages. Manuel, autuomatic, scheduled or periodic working modes are implemented.

Link EPG: Links EPG data source channels to the same channels without EPG data on other satellites or packages. Link EPG does not replicate EPG data on RAM and just link it dynamically.

Filter EPG: Filters out unwanted EPG broadcasts like Current and Next. You can add/remove filtered EPG titles from the user interface. This feature replaces my "EPG Current/Next Fix" plugin.

Fix EPG Encoding: Fixes EPG encoding problems by querying Kingofsat for selected language and adding missing entries to encoding.conf at startup once a day.

Hide Zap Errors: Hides zap errors displayed on the screen after switching to wrongly modified / broken channels. (Already implemented on PLi, this is just for other images)

Startup to Standby: Takes STB to standby on startup. Differs from statuptostandby plugin by providing an option to exclude enigma2 restarts.
Scheduler: Performs scheduled restart, reboot, shutdown and standby operations. You can choose time and days of week for the schedule from the user interface.

Ok plug-in is great however filter EPG not work entirely. It only filters infobar epg but not filters entire EPG entries so in the EPG view there is still old data.

You're right DimitarCC. "Filter EPG" feature filters keywords from Infobar and EPG info screens as advertised in my blog. You cannot filter Single/Multi EPG screens and channels browsers if you use only "Filter EPG" feature. However, if you have a valid sources channel to transfer EPG data from, you can use "Link EPG" and "Copy EPG" features together to suppress all dummy EPG data for the target channel. Of course, if you don't have any EPG source channel this will not help and you'll be able to filter only Infobar and EPG info screens.

We, Turkish users, use this plugin to transfer EPG data of 50+ channels from 7.0E (encrypted digiturk channels) to 42.0E Freeview channels without using any Internet connection to download EPG XML! Some of 4-5 channels have dummy EPG like Current/Next and with this plugin we completely suppress all the dummy EPG from all screens.

Btw, a note for all forum members: since I develop Buyukbang Panel on PLi image all features surely works compatible with PLi image. Thx to all PLi team for this great image !

You can install latest version from PLi feeds. You can use GUI to install this plugin. For telnet installation use below commands:

opkg update
opkg install enigma2-plugin-extensions-buyukbangpanel

Big thx to littlesat for uploading the plugin versions to PLi feeds!

I see. However is that means that in EPG screen there is no way to overwrite data? Now it happens that if i import epg from xml when i go to the changel my imported epg is overwriten by "." entries for example. So filtering only infobar not usefull for me. Is your linkEPG feature menas on every zap to the channel it will update the EPG from linked channel?

Surely its possible to overwrite data in EPG screen as I wrote before. May be I should explain with my example channel:

There is a channel named "Show TV" on 42.0E and it has only Current / Next EPG broadcast, nothing else. I coupled this channel with its 7.0E source, same Show TV with valid EPG data in EPG bouquet. Filter EPG feature is active on Buyukbang Panel and this clears/filters infobar and EPG info screens. Copy EPG injects valid EPG from 7.0E and so that Single EPG, Mültiple EPG or other EPG tools like CoolTVGuide shows valid EPG without being effected "Current / Next" dummy EPG data. So I never see "Current / Next" again on any screen.

I should correct my previous post, Link EPG has nothing to do with Filtering Dummy words. So you can forget it.

You just need to use "Filter EPG" feature and "Copy EPG" feature. I think using another EPG tool like Rytec XML to inject valid EPG data instead of Buyukbang Panel's "Copy EPG" feature should give the same results. I had used this method before. But as far as I remember you should let enigma2 generate epg.dat after importing XML. Please try GUI restart after XML import, then check the result...

BTW you are using PLi, right? Each e2 image shows different behaviour when it comes to EPG .

Hi,

I just downloaded today's VU+ openPLi image (OpenPLi-3.0-beta-vuduo-20120930_usb.zip) to test the issue, suspecting anything caused this error, but Buyukbang Panel is installed successfully as before without any problem.

I think there are some modification in your image that breaks this installation. But unfortunately above log is very limited to have an idea what causes this. May be you installed a specific openPli version with a bug which does not exist on the newest openPLi images.
I recommend a clean PLi install then install Buyukbang Panel. Sorry, no shortcut solution at this point :(

your control scripts all contain 'return 0' statements in the main script body.
Most of the time this is no problem but apparently the dm8000 busybox sh chokes on that and only expects return statments within functions. (to be honest, that is the correct behaviour.)

To be save you should replace the 'return 0' statements with 'exit 0' statments.

Hmm interesting. Thanks for the info. I'll release an update for compability.
However AFAIK other DM images, like original, do not have any problem. There should be a difference with openPLi for DMs

your control scripts all contain 'return 0' statements in the main script body.
