Hi,

I have external HDD connected via USB to ET9x00. This drive has three partitions, first ext4 partition is for timeshift and recordings. The other two are mac and FAT partitions. I want to share this HDD over my home wifi network with mac and windows to store the files and backing up. Is it possible to do so?

I do not want to connect this drive to either my mac or windows system and mount the ext4 partition remotely.

Any suggestions / help sincerely appreciated.

HA

You can edit /etc/samba/smb.conf file and add Harddisk records respectively to your partitions.

Of course the partitions have to be mounted. Check your /etc/fstab

I don't think that you can do something about the mac partition, though...
