Can someone confirm that newly recorded radio programs cannot be played back? I have old files from before October which still work, but since then no way. I tried to delete all files except *.ts but that doesn't help. However these files are perfectly playable on the computer.

Did you try the "reconstructapsc" plugin on the files?

No normally that indeed should not be necessary, but sometimes it can fix broken metadata.

I thought in between this was already fixed??? (just tested - indeed radio record does not play.... but then I wait for a minute and then it plays.... and then not....??? indeed strange stuff happens...)

Mine don't play at all. They also report to be much longer than they are. A 30 sec test recording is displayed as having 55 minutes.I thought in between this was already fixed??? (just tested - indeed radio record does not play.... but then I wait for a minute and then it plays.... and then not....??? indeed strange stuff happens...)

I agree.... I do not the time and capebility to fix it... at least the recordings are there... but in the last days there were a lot of changes regards meta files created together with the recordings that were optimized someone has to fix...

I doubt that. Since erasing all meta files does not help with new recordings, they are still not playable. But older recordings can be played with or without those meta files. So I guess there must be a difference in the ts-files themselves.And probably it is already fixed...

just tested with local-built binary...
and it seems that is some complex issue /?/
1. on my vuduo a 'fresh' radio recordings are presented in a list as they have 0:00 length
2. repairing with reconstructapcs does not help
3. deleting all ap/sc/etc fixes length displaying and makes recording playable but ONLY one from the service with an eit data /?/
on a recording of service that has no eit data playback skips directly to the end of file
hmm, coincidence?

@blzr - how you start recording in Radio mode ? On DM it is not so easy - i must select service, where is EPG and then Info and create Timer recording, because RED button switch still to All services only.

WHen you delete the meta, cuts and sc file from that radiorecording it is playable... so you can fix it.
