Your clone box uses old patched drivers that don't support the DVR interface. Get a box with correct support, either original Dreambox or boxes from VU+ and Xtrend

There's no need for patched drivers on a clone anymore last that can be used are orginal 20111109 - drivers (the one that where inside PLi for a long time), and many bob the clone image maker builders are screwing arround with dates so the drivers look newer but inside the bcm7405.ko is still dated from 20111109.

If fairbird really was using the latest orginal drivers he never could get any picture..!!

The bootloader dont support it..

I run Pli on a dm800 and a 800se clone with no problems, drivers 20111109/ssl84b and playback of movies/media work fine.

So the driver support the DVR interface, hence "orginal 20111109 - drivers (the one that where inside PLi for a long time)"

Its always easy to blame faults on the clone, esspecially when ppl commenting with little clone knowledge.

Fairbird flash a new orginal Pli image with ssl 84b and after boot insert 20111109 drivers if you cannot do this grab a gjstroom image from you know where

I have more than enough clone knowledge. Clones are not only Sim 2.10. Ferrari clones are stuck to old drivers for DM800 and DM500HD. Other sim (e-start etc) are also stuck to old drivers. Yes, Sim 2.10 has managed to patch 20111109 drivers, but their patch is so bad that when you enable ipv6 or vpn, their patch crashes.

So clones suck bigtime, select a box with proper support. And if DMM boxes are considered expensive, VU+ and Xtrend are not.

And I speak for myself, not for PLi.

I didnt no he did run a Ferrari when i saw his ssl version.

But anyway it's sorted and in the end it was no clone/hd-skin problem but a PLi bug...!! im not finger pointing anyone btw b4 i get pieterg on my back again

Since you know about clones, you should know what the patched loader does: it patches sections of the loaded driver in RAM. Instead of patching the .ko file (which is more difficult as it seems), they patch the loaded image in RAM. And when something is not as expected (for example different kernel options like in PLi), problems happen. Why get a clone box when ET6000 is a much better machine, with PiP, 3D OSD etc than DM800se clone.
