When i click on the initialization of an error
" no displayable files on this medium found!"
record and timeshift did not work once an error that the hard drive is not connected

I was able to fix the problem:
Go the the harddisk menu, format the drive with the red button, confirm with ok, now, don't close the harddisk screen, leave it open for about 10 minutes.
After that, shut down the et-9000 completely, even best switch on the back : off
Wait 10 seconds, switch the et-9000 back on.
Now, go to the file explorer and check that a folder media is available.
if not, hit the menu key and choose add folder.
Add the folder and close the menu, restart the et-9000.
Once restarted, You should be able to record.
Keep an eye to the maximum harddisk size.
