Hi,

I created a dreambox driver for my automation system (control4) using the url commands (with webif="IP/web/remotecontrol?command=xx" and openwebif="IP/api/remotecontrol?command=xx").... and it works...

...but.. its a bit slow... and I tried some iphone applications that control the dreambox so fast.

..so.. how they communicate with the dreambox to be so fast?

there are some commands sent directly to something?

Any help?

So how does your tool you communicate with the dreambox? E.g. more detailed than 'sending urls'.
Geen wonder... Had slechts een dm7000, maar wel ook een rotor. eigenlijk al een tijdje ook een dm600 en dm7025. Maar nu kijkend met een et9000 en vuduo

Dont know what your driver do and how it works.
I use ssh (dropbear) with key exchange to execute every script I want on my VU+ remotly from my android phone.
To control something in the web-interface I use the wget command followed by the URL.
