Hey, I`ve made simple skin with dark background. Skin is using only one render not from the Pli sources (SingleEpgList).
Here`s some screens:

I forgot to write that skin supports overscan in plasma TV. I mean that everything fit to the screen (Infobar or Menu)

I made a little update with the skin, Now it works with small script for ppanel, where you can change 8 versions of the skin. Simple ver already pre instaled, extended ver (second infobar with epg now and next description) version with cpu rpm and temp info. All versions avalible with or without PIG (only in channelselection and epg screens). Additionally you can change Vu+ remote controller using in help screen. Remote for Duo is from Pli feed, i made only small optimization (now works all keys). I made remote for Ultimo too. It needs optimisation, but everything works fine. First install SimpleHDTools and then install the SimpleHD Skin.

How to change skin version? Simply enter the ppanel, then SimpleHDTools, change version and restart GUI. That`s it. Here some screens:

Many thanks for this skin - looks good. One question: is the font in the "Event View" screen different that the one in channelselection?

Well, yes, but that was my mistake. Will change it for next update.

To change skin version:

Enter the ppanel (search ppanel in Extensions - default with Blue key on the remote)
Then press OK on SimpleHDTools, next Skin Tools, and here you can change skin version.

Skin is installed, the version change is good. The question was asked to choose the fonts for the Russian language. I tried many different fonts, but could not find it. If you can not, please put (or give a link) font, which is suitable for the Russian language.

So maybe try copy font "nmsbd.ttf" from /usr/share/fonts to your computer, change name for cool.ttf and put he renamed font to folder /usr/share/enigma2/SimpleHD/font .

With next update I try to fix it (if I find right font)

Nice Skin Setting it over ppanel works fine too!
Only MovieSelection needs to be set to fullscreen (same as your ChannelList). Than you need a PIG-version of MovieSelection

holi,thanks for the advice, everything was as it should. Now he looks like. Good to have different fonts, do this: infobar in the menu, the list of channels and other sections of the skin. Also consider replacing the background in the skin through.SimpleHDTools
What is the next stage of work. We are waiting for updates)))

Heh that was also my plan, but it requires some work, so you have to wait. This "trick" with the font will be avalible with my next skin update through the SimpleHDTools

I plan to do more PIG-screens.

To avoid eventual misunderstanding, I don't love skins with PIG. Only in two cases I really need them: in the ChannalList of Merlin images (because of Live-Preview) and on the MovieList of PLi (because of the Preview function).
For that reason I suggested a fullscreen MovieList with PIG
