Hello all. In my Setup, System, Input devices, Select Input Device displays 'dreambox advanced remote control', but I do have the VU+ original remote (with too tiny buttons...). How can I install that device to my OpenPLI ?
Currently, not all fuctions works on my remote, so I suspect this is the cause.

In all input fields where I'm supposed to put in characters og numbers, the remote does not work. It works when I'm using the remote through webif in my browser...
Typical when I'm trying to se the ip-address, the remote numer pads does not work at all.

Maybe I have misunderstand your problem. The threads i referenced show a problem that SMS-style input does not work.Hmm, could'nt find any useless help in either of the two threads referenced in the previous answer....
OpenPli says that this is a bug in the drivers from Vu+, OpenPli won't release any workaround. I have fixed it myself (compiled OpenPli and used the workaround that other image-teams uses).

The kay is working fine to select/switch channels, but does not work in any inputfields. i.e if I would like to add a recording, I can navigate to the start and stop time, but pressing any number key on my remote does not work, so it's impossible for me to change start or stop time on a recording.
And all other inputfield where numbers shall be set. Also the SMS style input field does not work.
How do i 'unlock it '?

Ok, that's another (or a new) issue. In my case, only SMS-input did not work.
