MQB, very useful plug-in for the ET.

makes it a tad slower, but that is no problem
would not like to miss it

The solution from Dima73 / Mogli123 is in my knowledge file, thanks

Guys, This MQB thing is almost exactly what I want. Better would be to have it restart the cam on a key-press, but having it call the cam-menu on the press of a button is good enough.
The VU MQB appears to support macros( link posted on the post above, by rtzhjgg0 ) so this could do exactly what I want. Any drawbacks on running it on my DM8000? if it's funcionality is superior to the original MQB, why it is not on the package repository? any drawbacks?

Thanks for all the help guys! I am already very happy! :)

The maker of the vu mqb plugin has decided to only support VU+ boxes. Although it should run on any box, it is currently restricted to VU+. If you can convince the author to make the plugin available for all boxes, we can easily include it, from github.

...and then he put it on e2openplugins...
He must have missed the idea about e2openplugins, and the reason why the initiative was started in the first place.

We're talking here about the "vu-multiquickbutton" plugin, not the "multiquickbutton" plugin...

well I use vu-multiquickbutton with DM500HD so no problem with that and it's better than multiquickbutton

... Any drawbacks on running it on my DM8000?...

I'm using MQB-VU in my DM8000 for a long time. It is installed on all images: PLi, AAF, Exp+Gp3, OoZooN+Gp3, Merlin and runs without problems.
All my shortcuts and macros are ALL in the same button (see picture). This is very useful B)

Is this version with macros?
If not, can anyone recommend a macro version working on ET9000?
