The VU MQB appears to support macros( link posted on the post above, by rtzhjgg0 ) so this could do exactly what I want. Any drawbacks on running it on my DM8000? if it's funcionality is superior to the original MQB, why it is not on the package repository? any drawbacks?
Thanks for all the help guys! I am already very happy!

The maker of the vu mqb plugin has decided to only support VU+ boxes. Although it should run on any box, it is currently restricted to VU+. If you can convince the author to make the plugin available for all boxes, we can easily include it, from github.
That's strange , i've used it since i have a dreambox.

I'm using MQB-VU in my DM8000 for a long time. It is installed on all images: PLi, AAF, Exp+Gp3, OoZooN+Gp3, Merlin and runs without problems.... Any drawbacks on running it on my DM8000?...
All my shortcuts and macros are ALL in the same button (see picture). This is very useful

I modify PLi SoftcamSetup.
I will make an opportunity to put the plugin on the appropriate button.
