It's the driver from 24 Mar 2012.... so already in our image...

cfe.bin is the old one, they just put et9200 folder in the archive.

et9x00 is their flagship product. I guess they will upload drivers for et5000/et6000 some time later.
At least they always follow this trend...till now

If you realy like to know whats new, you have to look at kernel.org and read the commits. But i guess for a none Developer its totally unable to understand whtas going on ;-).
You can also read some kernel log on information websites.
I guess 99% of the changes have absolutly nothing to do with the funcitons a stb has to provide.

better support for USB Wifi and USB DVB-T devices is always provided by a newer kernel.

Only a few of this changes are relevant to set-top-boxes.
The most important change is that all media drivers have been converted to use only the DVBv5 API internally. A compatibility layer translates DVBv3 calls to the new API. So now it makes sense to migrate Enigma2 to use the DVBv5 API for all tuners (including DVB-T/C/T2).

Yes, I've started working on that a few weeks ago (see the dvbapi5 branch)
