I need help in setting up sky epg currently it show now and then program I want the ability to have atleast one week of EPG, I tried searching the forum and came to a thread which is over one year old.
There are so many solutions available so can't decide which one to go for, I need a solution which will work for both SKY UK and Dutch satellites.
Can anyone point me to guide and step by step instructions.

Install the XMLTV importer from the plugins list.
After installation you'll find it under menu/plugins and under the blue button.
Start it, configure it, press the sources button (don't know the color, I thought blue), select SKY UK, save your selection, press Yellow to start a manual import, and press Green to save your settings.

Currently in use: VU+ Duo 4K (2xFBC S2), VU+ Solo 4K (1xFBC S2), uClan Usytm 4K Pro (S2+T2), Octagon SF8008 (S2+T2), Zgemma H9.2H (S2+T2)
Due to my bad health, I will not be very active at times and may be slow to respond. I will not read the forum or PM on a regular basis.

I came across one issue, each time I reboot the box my EPG data is gone, is there a solution to keep it intact?

Do not reboot the box the way you reboot it.
If you restart Enigma or the box from the menu, the EPG will be saved first, and re-read after Enigma restarts...
