EPG D+ Spain & webgrab+plus = guide.xml
fagenland 9 Apr 2012
Hello, after trying on my DM500S all tutorials on EPG D + Spain from the decoder itself I managed to download a file guide.xml the programming of a bouquet of channels determined by the program to WXP webgrab + plus. I attached the guide.xml file obtained.
Maybe stupid question: I have to do with this file? where do I upload via ftp?
The DM500S plugins I have installed SQLite and Rytec XMLTV import.
thanks.

First of all this guide.xml is in utf-8, and the enigma1 importer does not import uft-8. It only understands ISO-8859
You could try to use the Rytec source for Spain called D+ Spain included in the XMLTV importer. You may have to remap teh channels however.

Hello again, thanks for answering
I tried what you say, with the EPG grabber D + spain, but does not work, does not download anything. Have mapped the channels.
I continue with my idea of externente my xml file with the epg
I changed the encoding to iso-8859-1. and now I do with the file?

After you map the channels, you have to import a second time.
In the first import it could not link the epg to the channels becase they have not been defined yet.
After you define the link the next import will populate the epg.

I do not understand as I have done, but now I have 5 days epg although it shows an hour late with respect to the actual time.
This I got after doing several things, so I'm a little lost.
I guess I have to use epg.dat erase and start over?

In settings menu / EPG I chosed sqlite, storage / media / hdd.
Within the Dreambox EPG config plugin I have chosen the package Dplus (Spain) XMLTV, which is what I found works.
I've also tried the package that is installed separately, with digital + EPG grabber.
In both cases I have mapped the channels with my bouquet.
In both cases I edited the. Sh / var / bin, because I appreciated inconsistencies.
I will discuss this more thoroughly redo the process again from scratch, erasing the epg and plugins, restarting the dreambox and reinstalling the Rytec.

The XMLTV epg files are in the correct time. As long as the times mentioned and the timezone mentioned are correct (even if the time is an hour late, but the timezone is also an hour late the presented time will be correct), because all times will first be converted to UTC+0 and then by your box to the timezone setting you have set.
In the import plugin there is an extra setting for the time correction. Maybe this is set wrongly.
