Currenty my ET9K harddisk is visible on my internal network to all PCs and media players, to prevent it from my kids accessing files and movies, is there a way to restrict access to the harddisk with userid and password.

Thanks.

Edit /etc/samba/smb.conf. In the [Harddisk] and [Root] section, change 'public' and 'guest ok' to 'no'.
