but is it really a protection ?
imagine a locked channel with 4 digit pin
a simple way to watch : "watch the recorded movie with media player"
another way for watch a locked channel : "set a timer and watch the recorded movie later with media player"
it's a bad thing and we should design a GUI password field for it

There is much more 18+ content on the net they have easy access to by just using google.

agree
When you watch it over streaming interface ,you also can watch that kind of channels without pin.
you can enable webif authentications
Even in the case that openpli / engima had a total lockdown for those 18+ channel think about this:

it's about enigma2 not world wide web

Sure but what sense does it make to lock a devicetotal down if 18+ content is available just a few mouse clicks away?

You can use the bouquetprotection plugin too. Then can hide/unhide services.
Yes but with this plugin I always loose bouquets after some time

Then maybe you selected a bouquet to be hidden, because Bouquets are getting lost when you hide them.
Therefore You must select/hide services only.

I think it should be really nice that you can specify in the parental control the bouquets that you will be able to see.(on the box but also in the webif)
Parental control on ,will only activate for instance bouquet number 1 and the rest under an pin.
Or visa versa.
i no bouquets protection is a plugin that almost do that but it's not working properly.
Dreamboxedit can not handle this plugin.

Still as i download the list to dreamboxedit and i forgot to unhide the bouquet that's hidden something goes wrong.
After putting it back on the box and unhide the bouquet again there comes a listing of N/A which is the bouquet.
It's empty.
After doing that ,i can't download it again to dreamboxedit because of an error "failed to download bouquet..... from dreambox"
I have to remove the bouquet from "bouquets.tv" in order to download it again.
After creating a new bouquet in dreamboxedit it looks like it is working again ,and also i can hide it again.
It's no problem for me, but what happens if you update the bouquet list online?
ps don't really no if it's your work but it also disappears in the webif ,what was meant for me.
