Xmltv Importer is a plugin which is used to download xmltv packages. It is the plugin of choice if you are using openpli.

Use the XMLTV importer and be sure not to select the Slovenian package if you do not want to have Slovenian.

 

A the Ex-Yu countries share a lot of channels, I have combined them al into one XMLTV file (As are all Benelux channels are in teh Benelux package).  Now since Slovenian is quite different, there is a separate Slovenian channels file and a separate import option for the Slovenian channels.

 

If you now select the Ex-Yu option and Slovenian option together.  The last import wins, meaning the epg from the package which is last imported is given.

 

If you want to see if this is the problem with your boxes.  Install the XMLTV plugin.  Configure it to import the Ex-Yu package alone.  Clear all epg in your box (see our faq's) Import a the Ex-Yu epg agan.  After import check the epg in your box.

 

Pls. remember.  I cannot see the difference between Croatian, Serbian or other Ex-Yu language.  I know Serbian is sometimes written in Cyrillic, but I do not use that.  I could of course use Google Translate to automatically detect the language.

Thank you kindly for the clarification on what you do and how it works!

 

Now I see why "Slovenian wins", hehe... I thought it wasn't included in EX-YU, as it had a separate xml file, so I would always choose that one, together with EX-YU ones...

 

Speaking of which: which one do I choose, since there are two, if memory serves? Which one do you vouch for, please?

 

Or do I choose both and then they are "merged", i.e. they fill each other's gaps? They are the same or they cover some stuff differently?

 

As for XMLTV importer - now, thinking about it, I saw it but I always overlooked it, thinking it is a part of CrossEPG...

To answer some of my Qs:

 

-only Rytec is included in Rytec XMLTV Importer, of course, so...

 

-only one EX-YU XMTV file is included, of course (no Krkadoni version)

 

-Slovenian is separate from the one for the rest of EX-YU (because the language differs a bit?)

 

Will Slovenian channels be inlcuded in Cro/MG/Ser?

 

Let's see... I am "importing" at the moment...

Normally the slovenia channels are included in the CRO/Ser section.  But only so far as I am aware of them.

It is posible some are missing.  Pls. tell me if some are missing epg after only the Ex-Yu import (Cro/Ser).  I will add them also.

PS:  Yes import is slow.  But normally you never see it as it is completely in the background and automatically.

Even when you do a manual import, you can close the window and do other things on the box.  The import keeps on running.

It works!

 

Even the Slovenian channels (Slo 1-3, Koper etc.), although they did not load automatically. I had to tune in and then...

 

I can't check more now, sorry, later... :)

 

But better already! I had millions of problems with CrossEPG. This, on the face of it, is simpler and more elegant!

I cannot figure out what is wrong with it. 

The service ref is only mentioned once (so no double epg is loaded).  The data is downloaded from the webpage you suggest.

Although when I compare the schedule of today with the data in the XMLTV file some programs are missing.  Cannot be sure of the exact reason for this,  Because when I grab again the missing shows are included.

Added these reference and some new grabs which did not exist before.

 

Question is: RTL Hrvatska  te same as RTL Televizija?

 

RTCG1:  is difficult to find epg.  Should have 2 days though

 

I did not check if all epg is present.  Just added the service reference to the channels file and a number of new grabs.

Thank you, yes, RTL Televizija is the same as RTL Hrvatska. I will check epg and post the response :)
