Enigma2 is open but not Broadcom CPUs
if Broadcom were open as well, then you would know much better how to change/improve software( including Enigma2).You would be able to call CPU procedures directly and also those proedures that Engma2 does not use at all (because Enigma2 did not consider necessary) but for someone could be useful.
