I use the "rytec france XMLTV" source for CrossEPG, and in the program guide, I've got this problem :

-> for "13eme rue" (1:0:1:1F46:42E:1:C00000:0:0:0:), I've got the program of "jimmy" (1:0:1:21FE:44C:1:C00000:0:0:0:)
-> for "comedie+" (1:0:1:1FDE:434:1:C00000:0:0:0:), I've got the program of "SyFy" (1:0:1:21FF:44C:1:C00000:0:0:0:)
-> for "MCSextreme" (1:0:1:21A9:448:1:C00000:0:0:0:), I've got the program of "extreme sports" (1:0:1:2524:456:1:C00000:0:0:0:)

So I can-e use the EPG record fonction on "13eme rue" or "comedie+" because I don't have the good program list.

Here is what I can see in my configuration (the rytec xml file, the satellite.xml file on my vu+, and the satellite.xml file in dreamboxedit) :

(not very important for "mcsextreme" and "extreme sports", I don't record

This morning, I've done a new search on my vu+, but services are exactly the same that I've got before.

I checked my box and both the channels 13rue and Comedie+ have the correct epg.
But i am using the XMLTV importer. Probably a Crossepg glitch.

Now the MCSextreme is a different matter. This has a wrong schedule attached to it.
We will correct this.

So the problem is not in the rytec source, but perhaps in the crossepg plugin (this may be true, because I test another source, and I exactly got the same error)

But I'm just a newbie in Linux decoder world, and I'm just wondering what is the XMLTV importer ? a plugin I can install on my POD HD ?

XMLTV importer is a plug-in for enigma2.
It hould instal on a VU-Duo. Do not know how you image will handle it. But changes are when it handles Crossepg, it will use XMLTV importer.

BTW: All sources in crossepg (at least for CanalSat) use our (Rytec) data in one or other form (repacked)

Thanks for all, I managed to install xmltv importer (epgimport), and I can see and configure de plugin with my POD 2.2.

I put "rytec.channels.xml" and "rytec.sources.xml" in "/etc/epgimport", but when I want to select sources, it is empty.

What did I miss ? is there a file to modify to tell to search the rytec.xxx.xml file in /etc/epgimport ?

I confirm I have the same problem with CrossEPG while there is no problem with EPGImport.

I have an XTrend ET9000 and OpenPli.

Should work. No there is no file specifying the location of the files.
Did you try to restart enigma?

yes, I had also reboot the duo, tried with "/etc/EPGimport". no way to have something in the source panel

ON my VU+ duo it is

/etc/epgimport

PS: why not try OpenPli?
