Attached are two enigma2 plugins PlayStream and PlayStreamVlc for streaming live tv. PlayStreamVlc requires a working plugin Vlcplayer.

Button TV to stop streaming.

Please test.

Whatever (url) the user puts in in the cfg files. I have included some examples of German, French and Arabic channels.

But why do you need a plugin for this as there is already a plugin were you can download streams in standard settings?

Works fine but cannot play rtmp streams.

On which hardware.. and also with the vlc player...

Please note only et boxes are doing WMV-streams....

hardware is AZBOX ME and I don't use VLC player. I noticed that Arab.cfg and German.cfg files which come with the plugin contain rtmp stream and work fine.

Actually, the .cfg files that I created don't work at all on playstream plugin although the same links work fine on my PC with Simple TV player. I have also tried with http streams but without success. Could it be issue with file permissions or something else?

Certainly not, everything runs as root.

Please make the rtmp urls in the same syntax as in the examples supplied (for example -p or --playpath).

Other urls (http etc) are played (or attempted) directly by gstreamer (4097).

where can I find the latest gstreamer? It appears that the one I have does not contain all files

Thanks for the greet plugin and I will change path to url, like this:

path = "/usr/lib/enigma2/python/Plugins/Extensions/PlayStream/streams"
to
url ="http://xxxxxx.xxx/streams"

Thanks for reply @pcd, many people dont know how to find rtmp links of how to decode rtmp links of how to writes in cfg files.
If plugin direct read files in url we are create new cfg files of change dead rtmp links and I think plugins will be more convenient.
