There is not going to be an OpenPLi 3.0 for the 800 and the 7025.

Dream Multimedia doesn't supply drivers for the kernel version it uses (looks like they've stopped development for those two models).

Well, thats too bad, pity..... ok, no OpenPli 3 for above machines... what about OpenPli 2.1 for the same - is this version is going to be supported/developed more in future ?
or there has not much left to develop ?

Thanks a lot to PLi !!!

Please blame not us but DMM... They refuse to make drivers on new kernels....

How can you expect support from team that is doing this for free, when even DMM is not giving support (DM800) and they are doing this for MONEY!

We'll keep OpenPLi 2.1 for as long as it's possible and practical.

But expect new features in 3.0 not to be backported to 2.1, it's a lot of work to maintain multiple releases.

Currently in use: VU+ Duo 4K (2xFBC S2), VU+ Solo 4K (1xFBC S2), uClan Usytm 4K Ultimate (S2+T2), Octagon SF8008 (S2+T2), Zgemma H9.2H (S2+T2)

Due to my bad health, I will not be very active at times and may be slow to respond. I will not read the forum or PM on a regular basis.

Many answers to your question can be found in our new and improved wiki.

ok thanx

// edit

for some reason it has been moved to

go to the channel list -> menu -> configuration

don't know if that is really the best place for it

anyways, thanx for bringing it to the attention ;)
