There's a "VCR Scart" menu item in the main menu of ET6000 box. What's it supposed to do?
There's no scart connector on ET6000. If I go to this menu, screen goes blank. Pressing Exit button returns the main menu.

universal software, for other boxes too, and i see enough room to make scart connector on the backsite, so you can make it if you want too :)

????

There's no scart header on the PCB as far as I can remember.

But what's it supposed to do on boxes which have a Scart connector? A stb usually outputs signal...

In that case, what's the point of that menu item? What's it supposed to do, what function?

On my old DM800 using the same OpenPLi version, this menu is not present, although it has a Scart connector.

Hi,
the scart option creates a bypass so that an external signal from a scart input is passed through to a scart output. It only really works with two scart connectors. Imagine you have a VCR (younger people ask google:-)) and recorded something. When you playback the recording on the VCR you activate this switch the signal is passed to the TV.

OK, understood, thanks.

In that case, may I suggest to remove / hide this menu item in the ET6000 builds? As it is not present in DM800 (SE) builds either.

Thanks in advance.
