Is there a known problem with getting subtitles to work in timeshift mode?

Whenever i activate timeshift on a channel where I have subtitles activated (english teletext 888) the subtitles disappears. When I turn off timeshift and return to the channel I was watching the subtitles stay gone until I change to another channel and return to the first channel. When I use the record-function subtiles are recorded and are still there after I stop recording so this seems to be related to the timeshift function. I have tried downloading the auto timeshift plugin but it gives the same result.

Any workarounds?

You can better record and play that recording. Then you have subtitles. The implementation of timeshift was always tricky in E2.

I switched to recording and playback as well. Timeshift has always been a big disappointment in E2.

Sorry to hear that. Guess that i'm stuck with recording. To bad, timeshift has it's uses.

I have the same problem. DM8000.

I need to pause the timeshit and reselect the subtitles (DVB, TXT type does not matter).

Moreover, subtitle settings are not stored for some of my recordings. That problem started at the same point of time, more or less.

It used to work wery well, the problems started about at the same time when the developers introduced some code fixes to subtitles handling. I cannot recall it now but it was something with:
1). disappearing subitle options,
2). info on choosen (last played?) subtitle was not stored correctly.

It looks like somthing was overlooked at that time.

Most likely your auto language selection is changed...

I did not change auto language settings. Has the functinality chnaged somehow?

BTW, auto language settings should work for a first time vist on service, the changes should be preserved and not changed by auto language feature. It is how I understand it works.
