Hi,
I want to flash my dreambox dm7020 hd, but the problem is how I connect it to my pc (win7).
I have connected a ethernet cable from dreambox to computer, and I have completed the internet sharing settings for the local connection.
When I do a "Network test" on my dreambox, there appears no ip-adress or nameserver.
What could be wrong? Anyone seen this problem before?

Welcome on our forum.
Do you have a modem/router? In that case connect both the Dreambox and your pc to the router (so, 2 cables). That should work.

Hello,
First look at the Dreambox settings
In pli it is "Blue button" --> "3 System settings" --> "0 Network"
There "Enable network" must be enabled.
How do you connect the pc to the dreambox??
If you connect via router then it is easy to enable "DHCP" so you can get an ip from the router.
Or a fixed ip outside the dhcp range in the same range as your router and pc.
If you connect with a cross cable you must set a fixed ip on your dreambox and pc in the same range.
Example pc=192.168.1.5 and Dreambox= 192.168.1.10 is ok!
Hope this helps
