hi,

i been trying to build a image,everything goes ok till i get to the below place and it just hangs there and doesnt go any further.i am running the build with bitbake openpli-enigma2-image but also tried it with bitbake -k openpli-enigma2-feed.both ways it hangs,i forget where using -k method.tried deleteing my build dir and starting over and everytime it stops here.thanks for any suggestions...

them cursor just sits there,machine is not locked up as i can switch windows or even close terminal and reopen and start build again.running opensuse 64 bit.

Sorry Blackbear, I figured someone would have an idea what was going wrong when I suggested you post here...

try with bitbake -v -DDD, and see what it's doing.
Checking the processlist (ps -ax) from another terminal might also give a clue.

ty fer ur reply....its seems to error now al lower task...i deleted build folder before i tried build
....i scrolled up in build screen n cudnt c where error was.....as its show completings task...usually what u c when error occurs..

i dunt c where i gonna c where error occured unless i can output build to log as it wasnt what i cud scroll up to in build window....n not to mention it be huge file...n is gonna tell us anymore than we know knw runnin -DDD

correct,its still building,its just slow cuz all the degug,sorry.will post when it stops.

while the build is running fine, omit -DDD -v. Just use it when the build stops, restart bitbake in verbose mode to repeat the last step.

thks for all the help.ditched opensuse n installed ubuntu n compliled image with ease...even compiled openpliPC....opensuse is not the way to go...
