Limitations on the amount of channels to be decoded simultaniously cannot be seen by the softcam. The card simply starts to send bogus codewords when the limit is passed and the picture becomes black. The softcam cannot distinguish between a valid codeword or a bogus codeword.

I am saying you will need to find this out first. Ask your provider what's the max amount of decoded channels.

Excuse me, but the max amount of decoded channels from the card must be at least 2, since this is working in the other box.

If you refearing to CI-Module then it might be a good idea to ask my provider. I'll do that tomorrow.

Thanks for all the help so far :)

Both CI module and smartcard can impose limits.

Well My provider didn't help at all.

They would/could not tell me if there were any limitations. I think they are scared that I would do something illegal.

My best guess is try and get a CI module from another supplier.

But that could be tricky (I know they are locking the smartcard to the CI-module)

Is there another way to do this?

Thanks for reply Pr2

I have found a another site closer to me and they told me to forget the CI-Module and use Cardslot (DreamCrypt)

And it seems to work but I'm not quit "home" yet.

Still: THANK YOU all!
