i have a bd 500hd .now should i go for a older image or the beta 3. and can i put picons on my pcs hdd i know i can record but can i set up epg on it.ive been reading the wiki but im not sure where to start. i dont have externel hdd so can i mount it and use it like a external 1.plus i know you dont like to talk about xxcam unstable 1.20 are people useing it just trying to get what i can before i get it wrong thanks.

These 3.0 images are at some risk at these moments, so don’t use and flash them if you don’t want any trouble!

I'd suggest, if you'd like to add troubleshooting problems in alpha software to your to-do list, feel free to install a 3.0 image. If you'd like your box to do what it's supposed to with the minimum amount of drama, install an older 2.1 image.

I don't have a 500hd, but I'd assume that you can install picons to your network drive mounted on the 500, as well as store epg data there between reboots...

yes thanks for that been looking at wiki but cannot see where picons and other stuff any help please.

anybody with answear where do i put directorys for picons and epg i want to use my hdd in pc because i dont have externel 1 and befor anybody says read wiki i have been alday but im not sure how to mount it. and the plugins do thay have the xams for cs. its o s a c a m that i use thanks

About the picons: don't store them on the harddisk of your pc. In that case you need your pc running 24 hours a day. You can just install them on the box itself.

You use simple configuration, not complex.

ive flashed it with 2.1 for now see how i get on with image.looks like wiki again thanks.

well ive flashed it but it is not doing what it says in the wiki ie You can install a softcam by the PLI feed:
Menu > Plugins > Download Plugins > softcams ive set my lan up but i dont see plugins in the menu so what have i done wrong thanks

is the wiki out of date the plugins have gone from main screen why and where are thay located. and im right pressing green button on remote if so nothing is happening help thanks.

ok got this far flashed again got plugin but asoon as i put my channel list in db the plugins go from main menu. vhannibal 8 june so there put to date why should that happen. also where do i put script for oscam only got 1.20 4.0r been looking in flash but cannot see anything thanks

Oscam is in our downloads, so there's no need to use a script. Or are you talking about the configuration file?

thanks for reply got oscam sorted got it running now so my next step is to mount it to my pc so more wiki unless some1 knows a quick way a nd do any of the oscam info plugins work tryed 2 so far off the downloads keep getting error thanks

any help with mouning db to pc ive looked at it but not sure what to fill in and where on pc does it mount thanks
