(DM8000, PLi3, AMS2.7-20120601-r0_mips32el)

There are two problems with AMS on OpenPLi. The first one:

1 -when I start playing a movie with AMS and try to activate PiP with BLUE, BLUE - it crashes with:

unknown action DirectionActions/rightUp! typo in keymap?

2 -when I first activate PiPzap (2xBLUE, BLUE, RED) and then start to play a movie with AMS, I can't zap the channels on PiP with LEFT/RIGHT because this buttons have here a forward/backward function.

Same problems with PLi2.1 /AMS2.6.1-20120414-r2_mipsel

AMS works without PiP problems on other images.
AAF (a PLi-based image) has no such problems with AMS.

Please try to fix this issues

And on Pli2.1?

While playing a movie the PIP should be disabled as far I know.... AMS should block it...

Are there sources available from AMS? without them we cannot fix it!

I suggest the AMS does not change the infobar to the movieplayer infobar....

but why AMS works on AAF? Same structure, same PiPzap, same plugin-version (2.6.1-20120414-r2_mipsel)...?
Perhaps comparing this files with the AAF ones can be somehow helpful?

No idea why it is working on AAF.... Do they have exit functionality to PIP? (do also close PIP when press exit instead of blue-blue?)

Comparing files for us is note done... The better AMS could be fixed and without sources this is not done....

Yes, indeed! It's true, AAF don't have an exit functionality to PIP (close PIP with EXIT).

Then they are running on older ´PLi` enigma2.... so we can´t even compare.... AMS should adjust in fact....

AMS and openPLi incompatible.
It is easier to write a new plug-in, than all the remake of AMC.

AMS has a great number of functions. And I noticed that all this functions are working quite well in OpenPLi3 - the only problem is that small conflict with the PiPzap structure of PLi...

-With RADIO --> multiselection: it selects the movie (adds a number) and jumps to the next. Here on dm8000 RADIO works perfectly


-"Vkey"? dm8000 don't have this button...

But I found somthing...

I made the following reflexion. If PLi is the only image that have a problem with AMS and this problem is pipzap related, then which is the difference between them?

The the difference is that PLi uses his own PiPzap code and the other images the PiPzap-plugin.

I was curious and installed the PiPzap-plugin on OpenPLi 3.0 The result: not any kind of PiP-problems between AMS and PLi3.

just use the video/filelist button and you can play it all, no need to use a movieplayer at all

I wrote this thread becouse I had a problem using a plugin (AMS) on PLI. The question was HOW to solve this conflict and not which MovieList can I use alternatively...

Now I solved the problem installing the PiPzap-plugin. It's just a dirty workaround... but it works
