I found the ET6000 wasn't detected as well, so attached a patch to detect them both.

installer is updated again, thanks.

Important for settopboxes is only that the driver is started the right way for it.

The combination of OpenPLi/Sundtek/Vu+ duo still doesn't work with CCcam. Even with the older module. It only works with Oscam. VTi 4.1 works with both softcams and sundtek. I prefer working with CCcam and OpenPLi.

Anyone with a working Vu+ duo/CCcam/Sundtek/OpenPLi combination?

I suggest the softcam should not be related to the working of an DVB-USB stick.... so I suggest there should be an out of the box issue here with CCcam on your side....

I'm still wondering if there are good working combi's of Vu+ duo/CCcam/Sundtek/OpenPLi. In the dutch section http://openpli.org/f...r/page__st__220 there are more users with the same issue.

Tell us what can we do more...

There was a driver downgrade... so probably you need to reflash....

Due to research from SundTek they discovered that VTi did use older drivers... and we were using newer drivers and Sundtek confirmed that there was a relaltion regards to the dirvers. So a few days ago we downgraded the drivers to fix this issue... So for now it should be fixed.

@pimsat
I am using CCcam without any problems, but all of my channels are FTA.

I will experiment with non-FTA channels later today and let you know.

Unfortunately you are right.
There is a problem with CCcam and non-FTA channels after switching to and back from DVB-S. I get an error "Timeout reading PAT".
FTA channels are ok.

And there is something wrong with the newest sundtek drivers, I am back to 20120611.2321.

"timeout reading PAT" cannot be a softcam issue, PAT is not scrambled by definition.

anyway, the problem is there, occurs only for non-FTA channels, in the following scenario DVB-C -> DVB-S -> DVB-C

@littlesat

I really appreciate all devs effort and hard work, but I think what people really want from Pli devs in such a situation is not a miraculous solution, but some kind of guidance or help to find where the problem is. You know so much about enigma2 and other stuff, we simply don't. And we could really use our time to test, debug and give you more feedback instead of trying other images and constantly reflashing our boxes. I hope you understand what I mean ;)

So if there is any way we could debug or see what is going on behind the scenes, please let us know.

Sundtek and OpenPLi/CCcam is working when using DVB-c only. But after switching DVB-c -> DVB-s -> DVB-c it stays black for DVB-c channels
With Oscam no problem - that's strange isn't it?

BTW: Everybody: thanks for all your help!

As PLi devs, we cannot really do more than try different versions of the vuplus drivers.
There are basically two options, 20120228 and 20120126.
Both seem to be buggy, we need to find out which is least buggy.
At the moment we have 20120126 in our 2.1 image, in the last few months we had 20120228.

at least FTA channels work correctly on 2012 01 26, they did not on 2012 02 28

DVB-USB is not implemented yet in OpenPli3.0..... so with OpenPli3.0 you should not try yet...

@littlesat,

Strange that you state that DVB-USB is not yet implemented with OpenPli3.0 since it works for me with the latest Sundtek driver on ET9000.

Then we're lucky with Sundtek that it already worked... but the other USB-sticks with standard drivers do not work yet...

But the indication that it is fine with ET... is also an indication for "bad" VU drivers... The cannot reading PAT error might also indicate this.

Hopefully someone finds the correct driver or tiny patch or so that could help.... But since VU switches to the new kernels it is a nightmare...

dvb-usb is working fine with 3.0, you just have to manually install the firmware (if your dvb device needs firmware)
