dvb-usb is working fine with 3.0, you just have to manually install the firmware (if your dvb device needs firmware)

With OpenPLi-3.0-beta-vuduo-20120620_usb after a reboot it doesn t work anymore on my Vu+ duo , is there no solution?
i always do a mannually instali, it works untill i do a reboot.

you'd have to create autoload entries for the dvb-usb modules.
Or wait for the wrapper packages to be ported to 3.0.

I use this script works 100% on 2.1

if this is not related to Sundtek tuners please start another thread for this since we are checking all issues regarding our tuners.
Of course if you do not have such a tuner it won't be helpful for you.

Problem solved after upgrade to the newest Vu+ duo drivers 20120628:

I still have problem using SundTek and Nova-T stick on the same time. Only one works, other one not. It works fine with ET-5000 but here, nothing! I tried all workarounds from Sundtek, but it still doesnt work. Crap

If you can find someone else who can confirm that we'll check it!
I'm not sure how you installed the latest drivers, /opt/bin/mediaclient --build will give you the build date of the installed driver.

In your case the second adapter disappeared from the system due a USB reset.
One DVB-C dongle requires around 300-350mA in DVB-C mode, 2 Sticks would require 600-700mA on your system, VU+ DUo shares 500mA on 2 ports (official USB 2.0 spec is 500mA on each port)
The USB Hub should be a try on your side,

Running 2 weeks now with an external powered USB hub, but still the VU+Duo crashes when a recording starts. Only that channel is visible, all others give an error tuning failed. (When the VUDuo is still responsive, which is not always the case.) Any other solution?

I am running open pli 3.0 (2012-11-12), sundtek drivers 121027.112338, I have two usb dvb-c tuners connected to two rear usb ports without any hub and everything works ok.

I've updated the VU+Duo to the last build, and installed the latest driver of sundtek.... First recording the VUDuo stalled again. Doesn't have any other channel than the one I'm recording.
@Sundtek: Please help! This is so frustrating.

@atilaks: I've haven't looked for this specific drivers, just took the latest on the board of Sundtek. Will try these specific drivers tomorrow. Haven't tried the front USB ports, I'm too afraid the kids will break them of, just by passing the TV.

With only one usb tuner it works flawlessly, worked for months. (as you can see in another thread, I'm already struggling for months with this problem) But I want to work with two adapters so I'm able to record one program, and watch another channel at the same time.

take small steps, try with single tuner first to be sure it still works, try different sundtek drivers, different usb ports

I have been there, there are so many factors (vuduo modules, openpli version, sundtek drivers, hardware limitations) you can't be sure what works and what does not, just my advice

update:
sorry, so you claim it works fine with single tuner now? or it used to work some time ago?

I'll do that. Starting with the current build of a few days ago, and with the driver version you advise.

Edit: Yes, it works with one tuner. I only have problems when using the 2 tuners at the same time.
