Tdt Usb OpenPli 3.0

Hi,

I have a problem with the tdt usb with the openpli 3.0.
I tryed the af9015 model and a dib0700 and on the both stick i have the same error : impossible find firmware.
But the firmware exist i copied it to /lib/firmware/

dvb-usb: found a 'AverMedia AVerTV Volar Black HD (A850)' in cold state, will tr y to load a firmware
dvb-usb: did not find the firmware file. (dvb-usb-af9015.fw) Please see linux/Do cumentation/dvb/ for more details on firmware-problems. (-2)
dvb_usb_af9015: probe of 1-1:1.0 failed with error -2
usbcore: registered new interface driver dvb_usb_af9015

USB-DVD is not implemented yet in OpenPli3.0... that is why....

does the firmware name match what you see in the error message?
(show us the output of 'ls /lib/firmware')

Hi pieterg,

Yes this part is ok ...
The firmware was in /lib/firmware with the good name i trued both af9015 and dib0700 and always same error could'nt find firmware file.

I suggest it should work as a lot of fixes were done a few weeks ago... so please try...

Hi

I have problems with volar black (A850) on vuduo with openpli v3.0

dmesg | grep -i "dvb"


dvb_bcm7335: module license 'Proprietary' taints kernel.
DVB: registering new adapter (bm750)
DVB: registering adapter 0 frontend 0 (BCM7335 FE)...
DVB: registering adapter 0 frontend 0 (BCM7335 FE)...
dvb-usb: found a 'AverMedia AVerTV Volar Black HD (A850)' in cold state, will try to load a firmware
dvb-usb: downloading firmware from file 'dvb-usb-af9015.fw'
dvb-usb: found a 'AverMedia AVerTV Volar Black HD (A850)' in warm state.
dvb-usb: will pass the complete MPEG2 transport stream to the software demuxer.
DVB: registering new adapter (AverMedia AVerTV Volar Black HD (A850))
DVB: Unable to find symbol af9013_attach()
