Hello,
I live in the New Caledonia and I've subscribed to CanalSat I received from the satellite "Intelsat 180 at 180.0°E".
Data EPG works only with official receiver.

I use VU+ Duo and I can not receive data EPG (CrossEpg for example) because the satellite is not referenced in your database.
Is it possible for you to add Intelsat 18 in you database?

Thank you in advance.

Indeed, this region is not covered yet.
However, CanalSat (or Canal+) is a bit peculiar, as they have shifted programs for different regions. So I cannot use the reunion or Horizon schedules. I will have to download a separate version.
Since there is a website : http://www.canalplus...tes-les-chaines , I could generate a separate schedule (grab) for it.

One request: could you list the channel names (f.i. TF1, France2 etc...) which have the same schedule as the mainland (or reunion). I had a quick look and it seems that all cannels are shifted, but will you confirm this please.

The information on the service references you provided should suffice.

I will start working on writing the grabber definition for the New Caledonia website, and I will post a message here when you can try importing it. This will take a few days.

The shifted schedules, are they really only shifted?
If this is the case then I could use my normal schedules and simply shift the result.
I have not tried yet but I suspect the caledonian website would be very slow, so if I could limit the use of this website it would help greatly.

One more question: do use use DST time? I suppose not, it would make not much sense - but you never know.

Are you not 9 hours late? because France is at GMT + 0200 now.

Hello,
Yes, the time shift is it: 14 hours in summer (your summer) and 15 hrs in winter.

I've made some mistakes: the channels do not use a unique time shift.

The detailed time shift is in Excel file.
Thanks,

In order to test the principle, will you try something.

Place both the attached files in /etc/epgimport.
Open the XMLTV importer and in the XMLTV importer select both:

New Caledonian test XMLTV
Rytec New Caledonian XMLTV

The first contains the schedules for 13rue and ARTE.
The other file contains the unchanged programmes from mainland France.

Please comment on the results

Hello
I've add the files and make an import.

Now I can see epg programmes :

13rue and the unchanged programmes from mainland France are good

Canal+ channels are consistent with those of yesterday (perhaps a mistake?)

Thanks,

Strange for the Canal+ channels. These are downloaded from the caledonian website. (And as suspected - this website is very slow)
However yesterday I made a mistake. I had corrected it before I uploaded the XMLTV file to the website. Maybe something got mixed up.

Grabbed a total new schedule. Also the number of channels is increased. Although it is not complete yet. You will need to replace the channels file though with the one attached here.

Willy

PS: It is advisable to clear all epg in the VU box. (System Tools in OpenPli, otherwise the init 4 / init 3 method). If youdo not clear the epg the wrong epg for the Canal+ channels will still be present and mixed up with the new epg.

But The Cine+ Channels don't have new epg (the are present in the new file).

Had a look at the Canal+ channels, and my grabber got confused when I try to download during my afternoon (which is your next day) It mixes dates up. So I have to rewrite a bit, so it does date checking.

These should have epg.

CINE+EMOTION

CINE+FAMIZ
CINE+FRISSON
CINE+PREMIER
CINE+STAR
However: It is possible that there is something with the name. I used CinéCinémaFrisson. It is possible that the é in this name is creating problems. I will remove the é and upload a new set.

Comedie falls under the same category. (é)

Cuisine has epg. so I have to investigate why it does not have epg.

The others I still have to add.
If you open the caled.channels.xml file (with any test processor), you can see which channels are now included.

Will make the new file this afternoon, so it will be tomorrow for you.

I've changed (é) by (e) in xml file and reload epg.

Sorry but I think I've made some mistake during my previous check because MCM TOP & MCM POP have no epg and Now CUISINE+ is okay.
I will try the new file tomorrow.
Now I'm going to sleep

Yes, I know that these last channels are not in the XMLTV file. I added them last night, but the grab is done at this moment.
I will upload it a soon as it is ready.
Probably in an hour or so.

The next thing to do is integrate the package in the Csat horizons/reunion/carabean source. And off-course automate the grab. Up to now I have started things manually.
For the moment stick to this set-up pls.
