When watching recorded movies, automatic subtitling stops working if I open a new movie while the old one is still playing.
To get it working, you have to first stop playback and select another movie or select subtitles manually with the yellow button.
This happens with both DVB and teletext subtitles.

In my system this happens with the internal HDD, another user reported that in his system it only happens with external NAS.
Weird thing is, that in my system, movie subtitling works fine when I use files from a NAS that is linked to a subdir inside HDD's movie dir.

So what is causing this?

How do you do that???

Usually when playing a new movie the pmt should be scanned again and the auto subtitle does work...

On which box do you have this issue?

I just press the PVR button, the movie selection window opens and I select another movie and start to watch it. Box is a Dreambox 8000, OpenPLi 2.1 23.6.2012.

Is there a way to debug this?

Included is a log file where I first play a movie where subtitling works and then open file dialog and load another movie where subtitling does not work. Both have DVB-subtitling.

Yes, for example those files that I logged in my previous message have "403 DVB Finnish".

I suggest PMT is not rechecked then... that is required for auto language selection. But at least the manual selection does work and with normal zapping it also workts....

So why is the PMT no rechecked? Looks like it's a function of the file dialog since subtitling works correctly if I use Suomipoeka file dialog, but not with OpenPLi's build in dialog.

That was indeed what we require (sorry I missed that)....

I see the first movie it selects DVB graphical subtitle and in the second this is not selected... It were recordings of Finish TV as far I can see... I cannot see why it does not "rescan" autolanguage?
