Are these drivers in the new nightly builds of tomorrow?

Doesn't look like it. But if you have some experience with linux it's pretty easy to install them manually while we wait for them to be added to openpli image.

unpack the files (*.ko) and upload them to "/lib/modules/3.1.1/extra" with ftp and restart the box.

Not sure what you mean with zips exactly, but I guess you refer to the packages?

i did change it in our OE and it will be in the next Persian Empire release

as you can see we don't like OE 2.5 or Open PLi 3.0

it's not just us you can search all over the net

the only reason that we will release Persian Empire image based on Open PLi 3.0 in the future is new kernels not Open PLi 3.0 or OE Core itself

we don't like the way that scene goes on

- not supporting OE 1.6 images
- stop updating manufacturer gits so we should stare at oe alliance 24 hours a day and check latest drivers in manufacturer websites
- funny talks about which team is better
- ...

Is there a patch from VUplus available to get vu-hbbtv working on openpli?
The calls for hbbtv is different and it looks like they used same solutions as opendream which is even not compatible with openpli.
