Hello everybody

since i use the pli 3 my internal HDD don't works.

I see it in the file list : HITACHI HDS72101 /media/sda1, but the directory don't exist.

Do you have an idea ??

Possible you need a jumper into the HDD for OpenPli 3.0 at this moment....

Maybe your Hitachi HDD has the same issue.

What do you mean then? If you see it in the file list, then what is wrong?

Have the same problem, the HDD it's not mounted automatically anymore... I have installed yesterday a fresh copy of 3.0 and the hdd was missing.

my workaround:

blkid <enter>
copied uuid

edit fstab UUID=xxxxxxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxxxxxxxx /media/hdd auto defaults 0 0
reboot

with version 07-07 hdd not ok

flasch version 06-07 and then update worked ok with hdd here

Yes VU, but online updates from 06-07 to latest version are all ok, no issues.

There is a problem with every new release starting from 02.07.2012. On 01.07.2012 everything working fine and after hdd initiation you my update to the newest version of OpenPLi.

It cannot be the jumper, nor the drivers, if the device is mounted on /media/sda1...

There is a problem with every new release starting from 02.07.2012. On 01.07.2012 everything working fine and after hdd initiation you my update to the newest version of OpenPLi.

i have VU+ Ultimo

where we could find the 01/07/2012 version, it doesn't work on the pli website ?

I don't think it is a PLI 3 only problem; I have the same think after a 2.1 onlie update on last monday:
With filezilla I see my hard disk on /media/sdb1 (I have my usb stick on /media/sda1), /media/hdd has only the epg.dat file.
Media player on the VUduo is able to access the disk.

If you installed 3.0 before July and used the online update till now, you don't have any problems. But try to install a fresh build of 3.0 and then we will see

That is true.
I installed Pli 3.0 on teh Ultimo before July, and only do online updates since then.
Same for the Vu+ Duo.
