hi i keep asking so many time ,no reply,after few minuets timeshift crash reboot dm 800 image 2.1 pli,and can not change recording path ,just delete book mark somthing and gose back to media/hdd ,what is wrong with this image thank you

Hi,

I had to deal with similar problem on PLI 3...
Possibly no time shift due to lack of correct directory on the HDD...>>Filelist>>..go to the HDD directories then with the menu button, create a new directory according to the time shift recording path...possibly lack of "hdd" directory

I don't no if you are timeshifting to an usb and if the crash generates an crashlog?
If so post it here.

Otherwise try timeshifting to default recording path.
If that is working try an other usb stick.

In my case ,the box just hangs (no crash) because of an corrupted usb stick.
I bought an other one and everyting is fine.

it is internal 250gb hdd samsung,it is ok for normal and timer recording and no problem ,but fortimshift after few minutes record crash,it is always on default wich is media/hdd and can not be changed,i am thinking to delete pli image wich is main problem.

as i said it dose not allow to change timeshift in recording path by remote controll,can you tell me how do you use your remote controll to make directory

I think you have to bookmark a directory in the movie player then you can change the timeshift path to that directory.

Ps which timeshift plugin do you use?
I use permanent timeshift and it's working fine over here.

i don,t know how do you use remote controll ,i can not do anything with remote control

hi i don,t know what time shift plugin i use,do i need to go to software manager and find permanent timeshift and install it,and where is movie player inthe menue so i can go make directory,do i need to use dcc

i installed permanent timeshift plugin ,now recording about 13 min with no crash but the two gears sometimes coming and i don,t know effect recording or not ,i did not know i needed plugin for timeshift,wonder how long timeshift is 30 minutes maximum

after 18.32 minutes stoped but did not crash ,it dose means maxium recording time are 18:32 minuts?

Well permanent timeshift will timeshift when you start the box or change channel, you don't have to press the pause button.
Only when you want to pause or reverse you do that.
When the next program is coming the timeshift plugin will start over but keeps a copy of the previous program until you zap.
You can change some settings in the plugin menu,but i don't think that's the case.

I don't no enough about disk's and formating
Try an usb stick and look if that is going well!!
