I made one for my dm500 script.sh (enigma1) and I want to compile it or encrypt it so it does not display its contents in the clear, how can I do??

I don't think that option exists for bash scripts.

Currently in use: VU+ Duo 4K (2xFBC S2), VU+ Solo 4K (1xFBC S2), uClan Usytm 4K Pro (S2+T2), Octagon SF8008 (S2+T2), Zgemma H9.2H (S2+T2)

Due to my bad health, I will not be very active at times and may be slow to respond. I will not read the forum or PM on a regular basis.

There's a tool called csh (do you mean that), which is buyware, and very limited in functionality. And the question will be if it will work on your box, and on busybox on an archaic system like a DM500.

If you want something closed-source (which is very frowned upon btw), your best bet is C++ and compile your own image.
