usb information and lsusb verbosity on vu+

/proc/bus/usb always remains empty, and lsusb -v also fails to show any verbose output. making it a bit hard to work with usb hardware in some cases..
running "mount usbfs -t usbfs /proc/bus/usb" will populate /proc/bus/usb, but lsusb still lacks verbosity (-v, -vv). is there some way to fix this?

I have just found this thread about lsusb.
My ET9000 outputs the following from lsusb:
Bus 001 Device 002: ID 125f:a02a Bus 002 Device 002: ID 1a40:0101 Bus 001 Device 001: ID 1d6b:0002 Bus 002 Device 001: ID 1d6b:0002 Bus 003 Device 001: ID 1d6b:0001 Bus 004 Device 001: ID 1d6b:0001 Bus 002 Device 003: ID dead:beef
The same is shown when I run lsusb -v.
Is this correct? Nothing more meaningful?
What is the interpretation of the above output?

By the way, we have the 'full' lsubs in the feed, if you really need it.

install usbutils to begin with. The busybox implementation of lsusb, is, as usual, very limited.

Due to my bad health, I will not be very active at times and may be slow to respond. I will not read the forum or PM on a regular basis.
