How to get picon updater and also best Picture setting for good picture

Hello guys just was wondering is their any plugin that picon can be updated automically and also any idea the best settings for picture image for example the contrast, brightness etc. Also is their any way to get and change the av settings to full hd display 1920 x 1024.

as for the picons - don't know
as for the settings - this is of course depending on your equipment used (TV or Beamer, directly attached or via AVR), your viewing conditions (daylight, darkened room etc.) and most of all of course your personal taste.
First you must find out, which of your equipment has the best scaler/deinterlacer (your receiver, the TV, the AVR) and use only this and disable the others
so trial and error is the name of the game.....
as for the av settings - just download and install and configure the AutoResolution Plugin.
