I spent the evening updating my DM800 to latest build of 2.1. After getting everything back in place, including old favourites from my previous PLI Jade installation, the box is crashing quite often in channel listing view. See attached crashlog for details.

your epg cache contains invalid data.
Try to start up with an empty cache:
init 4
rm /hdd/epg.dat
init 3

init 4
rm /hdd/epg.dat
init 3
