Playing DVD movies / iso files freezes the system

Hi,

I have a fresh installation of OpenPLI 3.0 todays version, i install dreamexplorer & dvdplayer, reboot, and then start a movie. The movie plays for approx 5 seconds without sound, then everything freezes. I can telnet the box and command reboot to the box.
I have tried multiple iso files who all work on other images and on PC with VLC media player.

Anyone else who is experiencing this problem?

MKV movies work without problem.

I tried 6 aug release of 3.0 and same error.I have a DM500HD and 2TB hard drive connected on eSata.

Hi, just installed latest OpenPLI 2.1 and the same error occurs there!

try playback it from movieplayer (Video button) only

Tried it now on 2.1 same problem :-(

What could it be?
I tell you i did some real clean installations.

Tried several, all work on newnigma2 image and on PC, none work on OpenPLI 2.1 or 3.0.

I like OpenPLI better.

what dvd titles crash? maybe others can try them too...

can you run enigma in the foreground and capture the enigma log when playing the dvd.
Geen wonder... Had slechts een dm7000, maar wel ook een rotor. eigenlijk al een tijdje ook een dm600 en dm7025. Maar nu kijkend met een et9000 en vuduo

same here freezes when playing movie usb hdd mp4 , dvd , mkv using new OpenPLi-2.1-beta-dm800-20120811.zip
