The second image is about a skin, nothing more or less. The transponder scan of OpenPLi really has this option, though (from image 1).

no "clear transponder list". this feature is missing in your image...

and the feature that it can see free space/free time in timerlist is also missing in your image...

LOL, yes, you are right (2x). I thought you were talking about enigma2. I haven't used enigma1 for about four/five years, so I honestly wouldn't know.

... for a large part because the hardware of enigma1 boxes is seriously limited, it's no fun to do development on, it's all limitations...

I think the screen shots you posted are in the latest CVS images only. Years ago we decided not to sync with Enigma1 any more because the changes between OpenPLi and CVS became too large.

that explains a lot. thx. it was the best answer in this thread. since, however, the question arises, what is better: to have the features of latest CVS or tens of years old as of the pli software have to where missing these features?! i would favor the former.... but inside latest CVS i can't change the channel of the remote...

then I'd rather have a limited box ( i mean i just want to watch television not more..) as a box that contains a totally illogical software that originally came from people who are in the scientology sect members. because that is what the enigma2 software is so bad! because scientology!

Getting the best of both worlds would be the best solution, but that's (near) impossible now. One of the major differences is the completely different menus/user interface. Also, how the images are built, is different (in CVS images it's much more cleaner). The best solution would be starting from scratch again and adding the PLi specific features one-by-one again.

could you not at least bring the option of selecting the level of remote control in the CVS so people, the images after the CVS build, with this feature in their current CVS can install image? Or this feature only works in your images?
