Is it possible to move this plugin to the e2openplugins repo, and can i have an account to commit there?

The current plugin is located in the enigma2-plugins repo, in the PLi section.

i redesigned the whole plugin structure, added local language support, implemented a new OID, and fixed two wrong ones (hostname/location where switched), and switched it from PLi to Extensions

Attached a zip file with the complete plugin/changes, a diff file for the current version (does not match PLi location anymore!!), and a IPK file for testing purposes.

With regards,
Rob

The repo already exists: https://github.com/E...lugin-SnmpAgent

I added you to it.

Currently in use: VU+ Duo 4K (2xFBC S2), VU+ Solo 4K (1xFBC S2), uClan Usytm 4K Pro (S2+T2), Octagon SF8008 (S2+T2), Zgemma H9.2H (S2+T2)

Due to my bad health, I will not be very active at times and may be slow to respond. I will not read the forum or PM on a regular basis.

Many answers to your question can be found in our new and improved wiki.

Thank you for this.

Chances are pushed in the new repo.

Two questions left:

- How to test if everything works ok ?
- if everything is ok, will the new PLi update take this plugin from the new repo by default?

Yes, in fact we've been building from this repository for a couple of months now.
The SF repository is no longer in use.

That is strange, i mean i could see the freshly downloaded plugin on my STBs as the one with recent changes...
The previous version on the e2openplugin repo was very old, and did not have for instance network support.

oh wait, though it has been in e2openplugins for a long time, it has not been added to task-openplugins yet

I also think this needs a bit investigation as indeed the version omn our feed is the one from our git and not from e2openplugins...???
I also didn't know it was on e2openplugins (did not discover it yet).

At least gizmocuz is now able to upgrade the e2openplugins version....

And "our" version could be made obsoleted.... ;)

could it be that the reason it is not in the tasks if because of post 113 here?

http://openpli.org/f...051#entry223051

Is it the twistedsnmp dependency, or is it already provided by dmm?

oh yeah, probably. I forgot about that (in fact I just added the snmpagent to the meta task)

If the dependency is still missing, somebody might revert it (or just add the missing dependency to their image). We'll see.

Is it possible i now see the old version under PLi, and the new version under Extensions? (Download plugins option) Or has this something to-do with the fact i updated my box from a version where the plugin resided in the PLi section?
Or should 'Download Plugins' always show the latest list? In this case it is for sure in both Extensions and PLi now (SNMPAgent in PLi could be removed then)
