Thats the default time and date for the box if it is not connected to a time source ie network time server or satellite transponder.
Until The Wheels are off the ground there is still hope

OK, Perfect. Now I see most files and folders with 1 Jan 1970... Is it possible to change?

concernig the 'wrong' date -
the key question is: if you're able to get signal from your sat(s) at all?
//if no, I suggest to check your sat configuration in the menu (if you had 13.0/19.2 E in your setup, you probably have re-enter your satelites...)
---
as for the password changing - this plugin you mentioned doesn't work with 3.0 AFAIK,
you can change your password using telnet/ssh with command:
passwd

True sarcasm doesn't need green font...

Yes, anything fine with the signal. Basically OpenPLi is the best OS for VU+ UNO/ULTIMO I even tried. I stopped on OpenPLi about 7-8 months ago and was completely happy. But a few days ago I just completely reinstalled OS on both receivers and got this problem with date. And ChangePasswd plugin.

you mean system files and folders, in the root filesystem?
That would be normal, these files/folders are created on the build server.

As long as your own files (e.g. recordings) have the correct timestamp, you're fine.

Two dvbs2 tuners dont works great.
Images on 43W are cut at the top.

yes, but please send an email to dream multimedia about that, we cannot fix the drivers and it is obvious they broke something lately :)

I have already sent so far received no reply, however a friend of mine sent r also received the answer that would be right back to O.E1.6 to have good image again. The following example image perforated in 43W.

Hi, I am having problems installing the latest beta images onto a Dreambox DM7020HD.

OpenPLi-3.0-beta-dm7020hd-20121010.nfi installs and works fine.

However, OpenPLi-3.0-beta-dm7020hd-20121015.nfi and OpenPLi-3.0-beta-dm7020hd-20121013.nfi do not install correctly.
Could the problems with these images be related to the changes that were incorporated for the XFS file support. This change seems to be something that differentiates the build 10th October which works correctly with the builds after the 10th of October which are not installing.

Hope you can help and resolve the issues with the Dreambox builds.

Thanks.

I'm not sure it's related to the XFS changes, it seems more likely it's a problem caused by the recent kernel patches by dmm.

However, if I revert the XFS config change, could you test the result for us? (we do not seem to have 7020hd's in the team to test this ourselves)

If I install enigma 3 to my vuduo do I have to go through the process of installing satellites and channels again?

Or can I use the settings from an enigma 2 backup?

When you use autoinstall/autobackup then it is most likely flash and wait....

I did try upgrading to enigma 3. I did a backup before upgrading.

When the vuduo booted up with enigma 3, there were no channels or satellites except for the last channel I was viewing before I upgraded.

I will try again when I have more time (probably Friday), but I have downgraded back to enigma 2 until then.

Hi pieterg,

You are no doubt correct as it would appear that DM have in the last few days made a kernal change which perhaps resulted in the images that I was trying to flash to my 7020HD not functioning as expected. This could very well be the reason that the image is not flashing correctly rather than anything related to the XFS driver.

OpenPLi3 has proved to be an excellent image on the 7020HD for a number of months now and I would have no problems testing any change that you wish to make.

OK thanks, then I'll revert the XFS changes (just for the 7020hd for now), and hopefully you'd be able to tell us whether tomorrows build starts working again.

The receiver's dispay is stuck at ..dhcp and the screen remains dark

Hi, I am happy to confirm that I was able to successfully flash OpenPLi-3.0-beta-dm7020hd-20121016.nfi onto my 7020HD this morning.
On the previous build 20121015 the receiver's dispay was remaining stuck at ..dhcp and the screen remained dark.

However, for some reason OpenPLi-3.0-beta-dm7020hd-20121016.nfi did not seem to autoboot fully at start up but did so fine when I telnet into my receiver and issued the commands
init 4
enigma2
There seems to be a few people that had similar issues with the 7020HD images from the last few days as I also noticed reports of issues in the German forum.
Thanks for your support

Buy a genuine DM800SE!
Pli does not support clones.

You just need to compile the image with XFS support from scratch (remove all compiled files and folders, and start compiling)

p's'

that is not the most elegant method, but it works here on my DM8000HD :)

What are the main difference of the new 3.6.0 kernel (regarding the box only) and has it been implemented yet?
