What are the main difference of the new 3.6.0 kernel (regarding the box only) and has it been implemented yet?

Hi guys,
I'm trying to build my own OpenPli 3 image for the first time, starting from scratch.
I constantly get a strange error while compiling gst-plugins-base:

glib-mkenums \
--fhead "#ifndef __GST_VIDEO_ENUM_TYPES_H__\n#define __GST_VIDEO_ENUM_TYPES_H__\n\n#include <glib-object.h>\n\nG_BEGIN_DECLS\n" \
--fprod "\n/* enumerations from \"@filename@\" */\n" \
--vhead "GType @enum_name@_get_type (void);\n#define GST_TYPE_@ENUMSHORT@ (@enum_name@_get_type())\n"		 \
--ftail "G_END_DECLS\n\n#endif /* __GST_VIDEO_ENUM_TYPES_H__ */" \
video.h > video-enumtypes.h
glib-mkenums \
--fhead "#include \"video-enumtypes.h\"\n\n#include \"video.h\"" \
--fprod "\n/* enumerations from \"@filename@\" */" \
--vhead "GType\n@enum_name@_get_type (void)\n{\n static volatile gsize g_define_type_id__volatile = 0;\n if (g_once_init_enter (&g_define_type_id__volatile)) {\n	static const G@Type@Value values[] = {" \

video.h > video-enumtypes.c

Problem solved: I had to upgrade the 'liborc' package from version 0.4.3 (the default one in my old Ubuntu 10.04 box) to version 0.4.11 (the default version in Ubuntu 11.04).

I downloaded the relevant deb packages form here (in case someone else comes into the same problem):
https://launchpad.ne.../ build/2227322

The old '/usr/bin/orcc' didn't support the '--compat' option, so it refused to run. The new version solves the problem.

Am I wrong to assume that there will not be an update for v2.1 of the image, or mayabe its not even possible?

This only affects the date string?
Or other translations as well?

many descriptions and menu items have been renamed recently, these haven't been translated yet.
So I believe the actual problem is only with the date string.

Seems to be caused by python 2.7, which appears to handle LC_TIME in a different way.
