Memory usage is perfectly normal.

The latest builds for the Vu+Duo now playback .flac files.
These havent been working on the Vu+Duo for some considerable time.
Thanks for implementing the necessary improvements which enabled the .flac playback for the Vu+Duo.

I am not saying I need blind scan, but I had it on DM8000 on DVB-S2 tuner BCM4505. After installing PLI 3.0 blind scan is not available anymore. Is that should be like that or I did something wrong?

Is it just me or subtitles ".srt" work better on OpenPLi 2.1? In version 3.0 they take a while to appear and fail sometimes.

Only appears when I advance a little while immediately appears on my TV Samsung UN405500 (external HDD).

I have finally decided to install the latest OpenPLi. Looks very nice, but...
1. I feel a bit of lack of plugins. I can't also find something like a panel under blue button. Is there something available?
2. this site tells about plugins installation, but the green button doesn't work at all.
3. I also can't find, where did the image mount an usb stick. I can see it in "HDD settings" (it is not a HDD!), but can't do anything special, just initialize or check file system. I initialized, and... nothing. In the meantime, I found out it is mounted in /media/usb.
4. Where I can find picons to download? I am especially interested in transparent or at least black picons from 13E, 19,2E, 4,8E and 0,8W. Can't find anything else, except skins...

I thought maybe "Packages" on the main site will give some packages to install, but the site is empty.

Sorry for maybe stupid questiions, but as I mentioned earlier, I'm completely fresh at OpenPLi.

Of course. I was just tired, and didn't want to make mistakes.
1. Unfortunately I haven't found anything similar to Blue Panel. There was something called PanelPLi, but as I understand, it was for ver. 2.1 images.
2. To get to most of the plugins available, you have to go to Menu > Plugins > push green button and dwonload whatever you like. For example, if you choose picons, system will ask you where you want to install them: flash, usb stick, HDD (of course, if HDD and usb stick are already mounted).
3. I can't get used to it. I was using NE2 images before, and there was something called "Device Manager" in the Blue Panel, where you could manage usb stick. But OK, this is not that important. My usb stick was automatically mounted on /media/usb.
4. See point. 2.
So, these are the answers for previous questions, but I have some more (sorry)...

5. Picons available on your feed, are really out of date regarding Polish channels. How often do you update them? Furthermore, the default skinf is dark, so it would be good, if the picons would be dark or transparent. They are mostly white. :/
6. I couldn't find the way to install OLED picons for my DM800HD se. How can I do it?
7. On your wiki site, you are linking to E2-OpenPlugins. How to install plugins from this repostirory?

Sorry for being pain the ass, but once I find out everything, I will be happy to use this image, as I really like it.

8. Is there a plugin available to change keymap to neutrino, or at least half-neutrino?

P.S.
Can I edit my own posts if they are already posted?

There's an edit timeout of 5 minutes, which should be enough to correct typo's.

We do not allow longer timeouts, history has shown that people ruin complete threads by going back and changing the text (or even deleting it), completely destroying the context. The downside is that you have to post a second message if you later want to add something. As always, the good have to suffer because of the bad... ;)

Currently in use: VU+ Duo 4K (2xFBC S2), VU+ Solo 4K (1xFBC S2), uClan Usytm 4K Ultimate (S2+T2), Octagon SF8008 (S2+T2), Zgemma H9.2H (S2+T2)

Due to my bad health, I will not be very active at times and may be slow to respond. I will not read the forum or PM on a regular basis.

Many answers to your question can be found in our new and improved wiki.

I can live with that - no probs. I was just curious if I can't do it, or it's simply impossible. Now it's clear. ;)

What about my questions? Especially no. 6 and 7? :D

Hey guys,

I'm running OpenPLI 3.0 on an Xtrend 4000 and I'm happy with it so far, but I'm having one question though.

On the homepage there are always the images for all of the supported devices.
Once I updated to the latest FW can I update within OpenPLI or do I need to update the FW from time to time via USB?

Thanks
Stefan

You can (almost) always use the update function within Openpli ,unless the devs ask you to flash, because of a major update or maybe complete new Openpli 4???
