Update 0.5R6

- Cosmetic
- Better standby, Only the grabber will killed, Deamon stay running (Now you can connect with other client)
- Dm800 new deamon.
- Lights go now off in standby
- Threshold added in e2fronded plugin
- Startup/Sleep script fixed
- Wakeup problem fixed
- Some little bugs....

After installation, you need to start this script:
/usr/bin/boblight-dev.sh
This will install all packs you need.

Start/Stop Boblight without Plugin Frondend:

Start the grabber: /etc/init.d/boblight-control start
Stop the grabber: /etc/init.d/boblight-control stop
Restart grabber: /etc/init.d/boblight-control restart

Use other client, when grabber is sleeping

Start a boblight client on other box or pc.

On linux:
export DISPLAY=0:0
boblight-X11 -s iptodeamon -o value=10
On XMBC you can give a ip and port.

Test paterns:

Start boblightd -f in telnet

boblight-chase 1 ffcc gives you a chase (ctrl+c is cancel)
boblight-chase 3 ffcc gives you a rainbow
boblight-chase 4 ffcc gives you a rainbow
boblight-chase 5 ffcc00 gives you a color, this is orange/yellow
boblight-chase 5 cc0000 gives you a color, this is red


Atmolight users with 4 leds strips, can use the config in attachement. (Thanks to NietGiftig)
Rename to boblight.conf and replace in /etc

Don forget to edit /etc/boblight.conf. without a boblight.conf: no light.

Het is ongelooflijk wat de "simpele" processor in mijn ET9000 kan doen.
Ik heb nu 150 kanalen (50 vlakken RGB langs de rand van het scherm) in de hoogste resolutie lopen.
46"" scherm, om de 6,5 cm een diffuse RGB Led (LED string)

Processor verbruik is dan tussen de 35 en 40 %, maar dat is absoluut niet van belang als je naar een film zit te kijken.
Als ik aan het zappen bent merk ik wel wat minder response van de box, maar absoluut niet onwerkbaar.
Op halve resolutie doet Boblight het ook nog zeer goed en de response wordt dan beter!!
Als je met minder kanalen werkt gaat het processor gebruik natuurlijk ook naar beneden.

Eigenlijk heb tijdens het zappen natuurlijk geen Ambilight nodig.

Bij de zwart waardes gaan de LEDs ook echt uit, is bij sommige ander systemen nog wel eens een probleem.
Overigens bestaan er meerdere tinten zwart, er zit vaak nog wel wat oplichtende pixels in het beeld die een LED dan een kleur geven.

Om het maar eens ouderwets te zeggen "Chappeau voor Speedyisfast" voor deze Boblight voor Enigma2

Je plugin gaat steeds beter .
Ik gebruik cron om de plugin te starten en weer te stoppen.

Of mijn probleem hier mee te maken heeft weet ik niet ,maar ik weet wel dat als de box in standby staat dat de leds op de een of andere manier gaan branden.
Van de week kwam ik thuis en alles stond uit behalve de leds.
Als de box in standby staat zou in mijn ogen de crontab niet mogen werken.

Ander voorbeeld

Mijn leds starten om half 4 s'middags en stoppen om half elf s'avonds,als ik om 10 uur de box uitzet gaan de leds uit.
Om half 12 gaat de box in deepsleep ,en om kwart over 5 s'ochtens zet ik de box doormiddel van de afstandbediening weer aan, en dan gaan de leds ook weer branden.
Terwijl dat niet hoeft.

Zie dit verhaal alleen maar als feedback.
Misschien kun je er iets mee.

I can't get this going, evrything is installing ok. Evrey time i start boblight it hangs on libusb :
