Does exist some plugin for e-mail notification on screen ? Little message ( 2-3sec) on screen only, when is incomming new mail.

Tried e-mail client from repo and it is not for me...

the only one which probably (/?/ actually I never used it ) could meet your needs is geminimailcheck plugin...
and I'm afraid it's pretty useless for OpenPLi users...

//took a look inside, out of curiosity - there is some gmaildaemon binary in it, and lots of imports from gemini specific stuff...

about pzymail - it works well, but comunication with e-mail server stops for several seconds "whole" enigma and if is recording in this time, recorded file have corrupted picture in this time.

-the autor, 'pzy-co' is no more active on IHAD board - so, no contact to him.
-another user 'zombi' has courtesly repacked this plugin to be compatible to new images.
-never tried to send mails from this plugin.

I found email client ( i think, pzymail is clone of this plugin ) and it does not stop enigma...

it is in PLi sources via Software manager -> in Comunication.
It is for IMAP4 only

it seems, that delay make in pzymail parts with "cram_md5" in imaplib2.py. It is called in plugin.py with "try:", this failed (and there is delay stops enigma for several secs) and then is used standard connecting.

Can you tell me what exactly (I'm not a coder) should be modified in imaplib2.py and plugin.py to avoid stopping of enigma?

but perhaps this kind of "pausing" is needed to play MP3 ?

Replace this 2 files and in main setting change "Use CRAM-MD5" to False. Then restart gui and try...

Because CRAM-MD5 failed, but test in this part hangs enigma, then I add item to menu and when is False, it skip test for cram-md5.
I do not using mp3...
